Well thank God someone put up a new post! Anita, got any idea who you're meeting in maybe DT MKE, maybe not?

Can we come?

Anonymous said...

Ok, now I'm really confused which I'm sure you all are surprised at.
Who wrote this Post?
Anita, your in Milw??
And you too Claudia???

Anonymous said...

Okay, THALIA-- how about SIGNING your post and letting everyone in on this??
Hey, everyone-- meeting today at the Stone Creek coffee joint in Glendale: in attendance were: Peggy, Thalia, Patti, Greta, Anita. We're forging ahead with the July 21 date and the Anchorage location... and contacting everyone (we need help.)
Martine-- yes, I'm in Milwaukee until tomorrow; no, Claudia is not in Milwaukee.
Yes, you can come-- but we should have blogged this earlier....
We'll get together again

Ok, I'm pissed now. First the 25th reunion, and now don't get invited to coffee?????
deb r

Anonymous said...

I hope you all took minutes of this unsactioned Reuion meeting? I don't think that you had a quarum, therefore that meeting did not exsist. ha

Anonymous said...

hahahahahahaha Deb!!!
I 2nd that lol

Anonymous said...

Alright, already, Deb-- it's a 4-hour drive for me to get there-- how long does it take you to get to Glendale??
If I had known you could make it, I'd have called you....

Anonymous said...

Anita, did you drive FOUR HOURS to meet for coffee and plan this reunion for us?

(blink, blink!)

Anonymous said...

About 18-20 hours. Better be a good cup of coffee at the end of that road trip!

Anonymous said...

Welll...actually I was already there for the big turkey dinner with family on Thursday and a race on Saturday morning....

Anonymous said...

Anita,
Did you get my E-mail? Are you still going to call me? Hope you all had a great get together over Coffee :)

Anonymous said...

Just got it-- check your mail

Anonymous said...

Anita, thanks for sending me the Pic. I'm so glad you posted it, you all look Fantastic!!!

Anonymous said...

They do, don't they? You guys are the greatest, I mean it. Thank you so much for this. I'm really getting excited! lc

Unknown said...

You guys look great! I can't wait to see you in person. Thank you for doing this, seriously.

Anonymous said...

I would recognize all of you, if I ran into you on the street! You all look great, loved the photo. I too would like to say thanks!

Anonymous said...

What a great picture, thanks for posting it. What did you all talk about? Are you posting the minutes to this meeting?.........and again I ask, why weren't the rest of us invited?? ( you were talking about us eh?) Ha, ha.

Anonymous said...

The main purpose was to nail down the date and location: July 21, same location as the 20th reunion.
After that-- it's locating everyone, and finding out who wants to be there.
Anyone that is reading this and has questions, but doesn't want to blog, can feel free to email any of us.
Deb, will you be in town anytime in the near future to get together for coffee?

Please keep in mind that a camera adds 10 or 15 lbs to a person (and so do Crispy Cremes)!!

Anonymous said...

Yes Peggy, I'm glad you brought that up about the camera and the 15 pounds. I've often noticed how true that is for me, too...funny how cameras do that.

(crispy cremes indeed! you are adorable!)

Unknown said...

I apply Crispy Cremes directly to my thighs.

I want to be there! Count me in!

And I'll track down some other folk as well.

Thanks again, you gorgeous, hard-working women!

Anonymous said...

What a great picture. Everyone looks fantastically young! Must be the rejuvenating factor of Crispy Cremes. It is making me even more homesick. I am back in the states next week and will glady help too.

They just had it on the news last night that women talk almost 3 times more than men!
Since WHEN is that NEWS??

Anonymous said...

1. Hilarious, Anita.

2. Jodie's coming home! Why am I happy about that all the way in Montana?!

3. I do wonder about c.cremes and whether they actually do ever leave one's body...topic: can the body process c.c.s, or do they...remain?

4. I'm toying with posting that wonderful nude of M.Monroe...would that bring the boys back? Dave Meyer had a great idea for a post, but he hasn't posted it yet.

5. COUGH!!!

Anonymous said...

Speaking of Dave Meyer, I doubt I could ever get my husband to attend a reunion, much less mine, unless there is a golf outing connected with the weekend. Any suggestions??? What's the deal with that hyped Whisteling Straigts links course up near Sheboygan? He reads a lot about that place? Anyone know? David?

Anonymous said...

Yoo-hoo!! David!!

Unknown said...

Claudia, you can't chase boys, we learned that in high school. You have to let them chase you.

Anita, that was so funny, I referenced that study about women talking 3 times as much as men in an email to Claud last night! I think we're talking even more than 3 times as much here! But whateva...

Jodie! I too am very happy that you're coming home, even though I can't see you (sniff!) Why don't you come to SF?? xoxoxo

Anonymous said...

I guess you couldn't see that eyefulla leg I bared as I was serenading David with that yoo-hoo...chasing indeed! As if I would!

(adjusts skirt, winks in Jim N.'s direction)

Anonymous said...

Hey, I'm trying to earn a living here, I'm busy selling video games to children. You go away for a little while and the women get needy ... ouch. You can throw a dart at my Copperdome picture.

Re: whistling straights, at about $250 a round I've not yet been there. I can imagine a golf outing there would be quite pricey and only be attended by golf fanatics; you'd want wider participation yet a side trip is a distinct possibility.

Re: Blog topics ... Claudia email me instructions or tell me on the site where it's shown. Is Jim N wearing a skirt again? Oh no, I misread that. Sorry.

Anonymous said...

God I love men.

Directions on the way, Dave.

Anonymous said...

Anyone here that went to the golf outing for the 20th??
Bill Schulte is supposed to be taking care of the golf thing-- but he did not show up to the meeting....
Bill?

Anonymous said...

Oh thank god I can now blame the Camera, lol. I doing some struggling myself Peggy but you really look great :)
Ok, i'll read you all later, time to hit the treadmill, ugh!
And a big hi to Jodie :)

Anonymous said...

Hubby said Brown Deer is a nice public course and he thinks reasonable in price. Just a suggestion!

Anonymous said...

$250 for a round of golf?? EGADS. Cheaper to fly to Florida & play there for $35. I remember my parents playing at Brown Deer.
Welcome back Dave.

Anonymous said...

I got an email from Billy Schulte and he said he would be in charge of the golf outing. He has a good excuse for missing the meeting - we'll give him a break.
By the way, Patti looks like Lizzie McGuires mom (adorable).
Hi Martine - I heard you are going to join in on some of the meetings. I look forward to seeing you!
Dave, nice of you to drop in again. What's more important...making a living or blogging with a bunch of women that talk too much?
While at work today I revisited Garys guest book. It was touching to read all of the nice things everyone had to say. Of course, I was balling my eyes out and had everyone I work with all freaked out. Sad, sad, sad...
Where did all of that come from???

Anonymous said...

Peggy, after your comment, I went and looked at Gary's guest book again. He is the one and Claudia that brought us all together ,that is one thing that I only wish, that he could have known what a gift he left behind, a great one at that.

Anonymous said...

Thank you, Gary, Claudia,
and thank you, Joan, again, for sponsoring the guestbook on our behalf!

Anonymous said...

I second those thank you's.
Joan, how long will the guest book stay online?

Anonymous said...

Ditto everyones comments. This is Garys Legacy.
I think the Guest Book will stay on line for a year?

Anonymous said...

Gary would have so enjoyed this

Anonymous said...

A big hi to you too Martine, hopefully I will see you before July, seeing that we live in the same city. That goes for all other Milwaukeeans. Joan I may see you in SF before July. Can't wait to blog in a timely manner with an english keyboard.
Has anyone surveyed spouses? I liked my husbands reunion for the first 30 minutes and thought after that he should hang on his own.

Anonymous said...

I think he is reading this and still laughing with us :)

Anonymous said...

If Al comes, it will be bribing him with a golf outing, or 2, or 3. His high school graduating class was almost 1000 students (yes a thousand), so he never goes to his. I may come myself, depends on his work schedule anyway. Although it is our 23rd Anniversary on July 21???

Unknown said...

I think Gary's guestbook stays online forever -- we bought the eternal option, so we'll have to designate one of our kids to make sure they keep the bargain!

So chasing boys does work! Thanks, Dave...

Anonymous said...

Joan, that is great, thank you for doing that.
xoxo L

Anonymous said...

Joan, how sweet of you, I too want to thank you :)

Unknown said...

Well, the deal when the blog first started was that everybody would buy me a drink at the reunion to pay me back. But that was when it was mainly Claudia, Anita, Peggy and Deb. Four drinks, I could do that in the course of a long evening -- plus, we weren't sure we were having a reunion!

Now that we know we are, thanks to our planning group, and we've got such a big blogging circle, well, I can't drink that much. So our new deal will be, everybody reading this blog should do something generous in the next 24 hours -- whether with time or love or money -- and think about Gary when they do it. And we'll all be square. (Which we already are, totally, but...'tis also the season.)

xoxo back to Laurel and Martine! And Jodie, yes, come to SF -- don't just tease!

Anonymous said...

I would like to wish Claudia well and send lots of good energy her way for her big presentation today!

Anonymous said...

Amen to that Anita, rock on Claudia!!!

Anonymous said...

Ditto again
This is all Garys energy and Claudias vision. Repeating someones rememberance of Mr. Huth,
"its the Ripple Effect".

Anonymous said...

Morning Laurel,
Let it snow, let it snow, let it snowwwww! You should see the City Laurel, its a blanket of white having had 10 inches fall and more to come.
Bruce and I were out shoveling and I thought how you would love to see this. So I promptly plopped my self into it and made Snow Angels and had a blast!!!
I only wish we were all together to have a Snow Ball fight, lol.
xoxox

What fun to see your fabulous faces, and what fun it must have been to get together. I have been in a necessary reclined position for a few days - the picture and the chats are good recovery medicine. Thank you.
Snow is on the way here. Let it snow, let it snow, let it snow.

Hi Story,
Sorry to hear your not feeling well my dear. I hope nothing serious, rest well and take care :)

Anonymous said...

Hi Story!
Do you still have plans to go to Milwaukee soon? We need to plan another coffee clutch around the holidays sometime-- that Stone Creek in Glendale was a good location!

Anonymous said...

Hey,Jodie-- interesting that you mentioned spouses in your last comment-- we were just wondering about that at the meeting. We'd like to know what the consensus would be, so that we could get an idea of what our numbers would be.

Anonymous said...

Hi Anita,

Keep me posted if you are in Milw. over the holidays for another clutch. I leave Bordeaux tomorrow, spend a night in Dublin and then back in Milwaukee on the 6th!

Anonymous said...

Well, it's the 7th today-- Pearl Harbor Day-- and my 16-year-old daughter is 17 today....

Happy Homecoming back to Milwaukee, Jodie! Are you still jet-lagging? I hope you brought some of Bordeaux back with you?? I'm planning to get to Milwaukee either the 22nd or the 23rd. The 23rd is my sister, Nora's, 45th birthday. Hey, let's have a Slackers party at her place-- she lives in Brown Deer!
Story, will you be in town??

Unknown said...

Happy 17th birthday, Anita (you did all the work)...my Nora turns 17 next month. And I had no idea your sister was named Nora -- Laurel just asked me where I got the name and I really had no idea, I've just always loved it!

Thank you, Joan!!
