I can't imagine being just months away from your 50th birthday and having a newborn baby!! Then again, maybe that's good timing-- you'll be able to retire just as he hits teenagerhood....
Avi told me today that you folks who wish a FREE Lindy Hop Swing lesson don't have to wait for Daniel to return at the next Reunion when we all hit the dance floor with the Big Band Music.

I will be back in Milwaukee almost a year to the day of our ReU - July 20th, 2008 for an F.B.I. lecture series my guy, Rocky (yes! his birth certificate name, we're both Italian ;-) is teaching. There is some event at Mader's & we'll be staying at the Hilton I believe. If anyone is available 4 a mini get-2gether then, I sure would love 2 not be rushed/plane delayed & enjoy the city with U - oh, & intro. my guy of course.... ;-)
Where I live in the Bay Area (CA), you see folks our age adopt all the time........It's not uncommon to see geezers like me pushin' strollers or chasin' after babies in jogging strollers.
As a matter of fact, Dan, I have a M.A.P.P. Certificate from 1996 L.A., CA which is the Foster Parent Program Certification allowing those who complete training to foster children all over the USA. Once U have this, U have it 4 life so I always have the option to do what I planned to back then & rescue abused babies 0-3 years of age 24/7 on call. My life became further entangled in legal issues involving my mother'd death, real estate,etc. then I moved to FLA but the point is very well taken that there are lots of ways to raise up a child (that needs help as I did as a kid) if one isn't going to push them out the old fashioned way..... ;-D Thank U! 33 years is a long time to patiently search & wait 4 the right 1 ;-O Damn if U men aren't slow in getting around to more than taking out the trash & changing the t.p. roll ....which Rock simply cannot do...ever! ;-D
Oh btw, he & I will be in San Jose on (his) biz Dec. 16th so maybe I could actually peek at the prince & his parents? My good friend lives there & there is some possibility I would relocate to S.J. just for Dec.Jan.& part of Feb. B4 moving to the other coast of FL.A.with Rock. I have pix posted on www.myspace.com/susiefantuzzi until Claud or Anita can help me here.....gotta go see my guy so gurgle something cute 4 the tiny 1 while U stroll thru S.F. & avoid the chill......;-)

Yes, our newborn Avi (short for Avishai), is almost ready to learn the Lindy Hop Swing......His fave artist so far is Duke Ellington.

Maybe the Raffi music fun is helping -- as we dance him to sleep........Raffi is one cool guy with
great lyrics.
I thought we'd be going bonkers with Barnie and other fluff -- and I'm sure we'll get plenty of
other earplug moments soon and in the future!
How do you other parents survive the Hip Hop and Rap music? That's what worries me more than
anything (!)
Our hope is to indoctrinate him well with Big Band/Classic Swing.......and he already hears that
sweet 8-count now on the stereo.
