Nice Job on the Pics and Blog Claudia. Thing is, is that I have a suggestion and figured I should write it here???
I was thinking what about the people we can't find that are on our list's. I'm stuck on some name's and thought we could have a place to post them and maybe others would know where they are?
Should it be just their name or last known address as well?
Any feedback from anyone would be great, thanks :)

Claudia,
Have I told you lately how I love you?

Thanks, Peggy! Hey, would you tell me the exact dates of the reunion and what hotel it is at -- I can't remember and don't want to look for it on the blog and I'd like to post that right away...thanks!

I really was going to post it tonight but ended up watching Little Miss Sunshine (which someone on this blog- Story? said was good). Don't let the title fool you. Great movie!!
Back to reunion stuff...
Friday, July 20th - informal gathering, Possible location - TJ's Fireside Inn (we'll reserve the parking lot, too).
Sat July 21st - Tours of SHS, golf outing, and the big bang at the Milwaukee River Hilton on Port Washington Road in Glendale. There is a block of rooms set aside there. Would suggest people make reservations soon because there is a big convention in town that weekend.
Sunday, July 22nd - family picnic, details to follow. I can post all of this tomorrow if you don't have time.
We'll have more info after the meeting on the 20th of this month.
Billy Schulte is in charge of golf.
More info to follow.
Anyone that has classmate email addresses that are not listed on the blog should forward them to me.
Thanks again Claudia - let me know what else you need.

I really will do this tomorrow - just say the word.

So is that a No to my question above, dont seem to be getting a response here. Would really be nice if someone did. Kinda just rolled over mine, thanks!

That would be really great, Peggy. I'm going to put a short announcement about that on the side of each blog though. Then if you will post on the Actual Reunion Website that will be perfect. Thanks!

Sorry Martine, didn't see your post. I am running into the same problem with most of the names on my list. I need to talk with the other list ppl find out how they are doing. Give me a few days and I will post an "unable to locate" section on the reunion blog. Are you coming to the meeting on the 20th?

Anonymous said...

I just talked to Bill Haugen (class of 75) and he said he just bumped into Clark Korneisel (how in the hell do you spell that one?) in a grocery store in Florida. They live 2 blocks away from one another and never knew it. Wierd...

Martine I'm so sorry! I am so focused on getting that damn announcement up there! But I think that's an excellent idea, I was even thinking of posting some pictures of "missing people." You and Peggy let me know what you come up with, okay?

Anonymous said...

Peggy: Gads!

Martine: And by the way did you make Laurel's chicken tonight?

Anonymous said...

Thanks for responding you guys and yes Peggy I will be there, looking forward to seeing you all!
No Claudia, have not got to her recipe yet but I will it looks so good. Lordy its going to be here before we know it, thanks guys :)

Don't forget to coordinate your outfits like you did at the last reuinion meeting! Tell Bill.
And don't forget to take notes and post the mintues of the meeting on the Blog, or it won't be sanctioned. Ha HA,
(get off the blog Deb, only serious reunion stuff on this.)

Hey, if there's any way I can help with planning/organinzing/finding people, let me know.

Rebecca

Thanks, Rebecca.

Rebecca, after the next meeting we will have a better idea of what needs to be done and your help would be appreciated. Thanks.

OK, I'm bored. Is everyone having a great party tonight that I wasn't invited to?
Where are you and what are you doing?

Anonymous said...

I'm bored as well Laurel. Hubby has gone to bed and I'm sitting here eating Pretzel sticks and trying to pick out the ones with the most salt on them, lol. M~

Anonymous said...

Just let me know what you need me to do.

Out of curiosity, how many class members have you actually been able to find so far?

Anonymous said...

Martine & Laurel-- you two are are so funny! You need something to DO! Let's start thinking about a questionnaire to send out to all slackers-- what questions should be on there-- just the basics like job, kids, hobbies& interests-- or something more like the one that was published in the 20th reunion book? Who still has that?

Rebecca, do you have that book?

Laurel, thank you, again for handling the DJ contract! Are we going to ask for requests if there are songs that anyone really wants to hear? What did you have Three Dog Night play at your anniversary party?

Anonymous said...

Anita, I still have the Book and will bring it with me on the 20th if you like :)

Anonymous said...

That's good-- I've got one, too, and Peggy has Debbie's copy. I've also got it on my computer, and can email it to anyone that wants it, but doesn't have it.
What do you think of those questions? Some of the answers are really great! Should we use the same ones?

Anonymous said...

Anita, I like the questions from the 20th unless someone else has a better idea. Plus it would make it easy to use the same ones.
And yes there were alot of great answers. Would be fun to read what they think now, lol.

Anonymous said...

Anita--

If you could send me a copy of the book, that would be great. I wasn't at any of the previous reunions and it would be fun to read.

I responded to your email about the book. I'd love to help out with that. Sounds like fun.

Anonymous said...

Anita, would you also e-mail the book to me. Thank you!
As far as the DJ, we should let him know what music everyone would like so just e-mail me and I will let him know.

Anonymous said...

Yeah, I forgot to ask if he had a disco ball! Ha. Keep a running list of requests, he will do whatever we want. Should be in touch with him come June to finalize stuff.
Joan is negative on Bachman Turner Overdrive.
Remember Jeff does do Kareoke too, (how do you spell that?)

Anonymous said...

We should at least have 1 or 2 new questions for the questionaire. Lets start listing some suggestions!!
Also we need someone to make the nametags/photos. We really need to do that. Its been 30 years, and my nightmare is looking @ someone in the face and not having a clue who they are, even after memorizing the Copperdome!!!!

Anonymous said...

Maybe one of the new questions could be, what has been the biggest change in your life the past 20 years? Just an idea to throw out there.

Anonymous said...

It sounds like I'll be working on the questionnaire, so if there are any questions you guys would like to see on it, post your ideas.

And, Deb, I agree, we NEED pictures. I'm afraid I won't recognize anyone!

Anonymous said...

Rebecca, has anyone emailed you the picture of the 20th reuinion?
Laurel: Like your question, I'd have to think hard to answer that.

Anonymous said...

That's what I was going to say-- wouldn't 10 or 31 make more sense?

Anonymous said...

Wow Joan, you are really getting old, so sorry!
HAD NO IDEA!

Anonymous said...

I don't always make sense, I meant to say the past 30 years, I guess that number was just too big for me!

Anonymous said...

Anita, I hope that you have emailed that 20th Book to all who requested!!!
Joan, how could you be "unknown" if you were there in '96? But then again I have that book, and I wasn't even there???
Best and worst thing about turning a "half century". Great question Joan.
