Newsbreak

Really just an excuse to say thank you to all you slacker sweethearts who've been checking in with me about my Dad and all.

I just spent a week in Wisconsin. My Dad is all set up now with hospice care and I am so grateful to have been there last week. I have an amazing family and the greatest Dad.

I can't wait for our night at T.J.'s -- God that is going to be fun.

love claud
p.s. will "silent auction" poster please make a copy of that post for "Our Actual Reunion" blog, too? I want to be sure that we all remember it when we think of the actual reunion and what to bring. It's such an excellent idea. Thanks!

Thanks Greta. What a memory! I'd still love a copy of that Miller ad. How in the heck do you remember that?

Claud I remember that ad because I was so shocked when you showed it to me (what 35 yrs ago! geez, I never thought of your dad doing something like that!). What about the "Miriam" I mentioned - she was an african singer- ?Makiba? maybe I'm way off,it was a long time ago.

Miriam Makiba is right, but that wasn't a favorite of my folks, it was a favorite of Jeannette Fick's.

Long lost Nettie Fick...I don't know where that girl is.

Gosh darn it! I just finished emailing to Peggy all the people I thought we should try to find & invite & Nettie was on the list last wkend! Peg the name is Jeanette Fick ( last seen in the Chicago area many yrs ago). Wow that would be something to see her. Did anyone get a postcard from Betty Lynch today W/her new address? I must apologize to all, I asked Anita to change Betty's email ad & I was wrong. It should read a "l" instead of "L" after "b etty" again forgive me for my naivete. One of these days I'll learn. Love Greta
