All right Susie, who's the guy between you and Nathania? What's the story there?

Anonymous said...

The only ITalian NOT chasing Nattie & me, my cousin's then boy toy, Mario.
While the "boys" on the beach in ITaly & along the river in Strasbourg were hounding Nattie & I incessantly, she & I were taken with the "Gino Vanelli" in the flesh who rescued us from the "boys" at the beach ....
There sure R some terrific life stories to write about (& the best part is they're TRUE! ;-)
I sure hope I am able to be there with you 4 the ReU...

I think Nattie looks like a prettier Cher. 1 of my wannabe pop stars (I managed him 4 a time in '88) appeared as the keyboard player in the Cher video "We All Sleep ALone" & he reported that she looked very scary sans make up.
I don't care, I think she's fantastic...but Nattie is prettier.
;-D

You gotta love the tight jeans...

Anonymous said...

In the L.A. 80's, we were wearing peg leg jeans, a 70's retro - what's new.
Those of U with kidz must laugh when they think they're wearing the 'newest' style only to show them pix of our 70's threads looking the same as their 'new' ones.
Life is just a series of circles.
Sure wish I could come up with more of my Shorewood era pix.
I have some of when I was younger wearing big bell bottoms.
;-D

No one in the history of anything has ever looked good in tight pants. Never. So why do they keep coming back in style?

Discuss.

Anonymous said...

p.s. hi everyone!

Anonymous said...

Tight anything is simply a 'notice me' attempt. It sure isn't comfortable & denotes lack of comfort with oneself & the need for affirmation/attention from others.
;-)

Wow, that must be Gary Morrison in the December photo. What a cool shot! Thanks for posting Suzie.

Anonymous said...

Ciao Todd!
Gary M., Susan M., Bryan Wulz (sp?), I wish I knew the other names. So happy I found these & U R enjoying them with me.
I sent more pix to Claudia & 1 of them includes half of John Germanis' face from 5th grade Lake Bluff.
;-)

Is that Suzie Morrison with the white makeup? She'll drop dead when she sees this shot.

Anonymous said...

No No No, silly Todd.
The tall girl in the witch hat
is Susan Morrison. I believe the tiny girl with the white face is named Dawn Something I Cannot Recall.
When Claudia has the time (don't know how the working Mommies of the world do it!) to post more pix, she may choose 1 I just sent her of Susan M. & me looking like baby brides walking down the steps of the church for our First Holy Communion. Now THAT'S a bizarre picture she will respond to!
;-O

Anonymous said...

I already told Susie to check out the post, so Claudia, post the brides!

Anonymous said...

Susie-- so who's the blonde guy in the photo booth with you and, is it, Jamie Parcher?

Anonymous said...

Todd!
I owe U a few really good beers, Dude!
I laughed so hard after I read this comment "Claudia, post the brides" (makes U wonder what the other meaning of 'POST' might be
;-)... is it like "Claudia, NAIL the brides...." ???
NO!
I'm NOT DRINKING; well, a cherry/watermelon slushy while I help build a small dog fence so I gotta go...
Anyway, 4 some reason, Todd, Ur comment really got 2 me so I owe U beer - lots & lots of beer.
;-D
Anita, U doll U, the blonde guy is Steve Barr who lived on Oakland Avenue in a white (kinda run down) house & 2gether with Jamie Parcher & a few other street urchin hoodlums, ran wild.....cute isn't he! I cannot recall him making it to the Middle School so I believe his family moved away ......

Anonymous said...

Susie!

You are on. Especially if they're really good beers! We could have an 8-minute date and see how many we can drink ... ready ... go!! If I have enough, I may post a few brides myself. Stop blogging and finish the fricken doggy fence!

Anonymous said...

Todd!
R U insane!
It's 98 degrees, with the humidity more like 103 & I'm out there swinging an axe bigger than me.
Let the 5 dog posse run the 'hood while I swim & blog.
My roommate (homeowner) is in the pool now so I guess that's it 4 him.
Wimp!
O.K. gotta get back out there as I'm A/C KoOLeD OFF & ready to NAiL some Posts myself.
Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha - U gotta admit, that's funny stuff even w/o a beer.
Hey!
Did U google me or what?
How'd U come up with that "8 Minute Dating" smack???
Smart ass just like back in the day.
;-O

Anonymous said...

"Once a smart ass, always...". Yep, googled you. I google everything. I always was the inquisitive one. I've managed to erase almost all evidence of me on google except for one archaic reference to me and an old g/f. Anyway, hope the fence got done. Woof!

How does Claudia do it?
Every time I tune in here I am amazed at the timely updates of pix & info.
O.K. Todd.
U wanted baby brides U got them.
That's Susan Morrison front & center.
Check out Alan Lindberg, "Cat call sounds here.."
;-O
Recognize Carolyn Effinger, Annie Devitt (sp?), Sally Goekler (sp?), Barbara Allen?
How 'bout the 5th grade Luau with Lisa Whittet (sp?), Debbie Conway, Vicki Weisenberg & the above named girls?
U R all just lil kidz to me, 4ever & ever.
;-D

Thanks Claudia for the quick posts. Great photos Susie, you kept alot of very cool shots. Alan Lindberg, wow, haven't thought of him in awhile and he was a good bud of mine back then.

Have fun this weekend all, I'll look back for some shots. I have some of me with Bano with Bobby Ladwig during college somewhere.

Oh, one other thought. Claudia, is there a way to email everyone on the list, without cut/paste a million addys, to tell them an awesome photo post has started, the reunion is near, please contribute now and check in lots. I'm loving the photos. Time to do some marketing for the blog ... it'll rock.

Hi Todd!

I myself am way too disorganized to have such a list, but you might check with Anita? Or Kathy? Or Peggy?

Anyone out there?

Thanks!

Claud

Hi Todd,
Try Kathy Nelson - she is the keeper of the class lists (incl. email addresses).
Did you get my message? Make the right choice...blow off work and come to the reunion!!

Anonymous said...

Hey Peggy: Good idea, I'll try Kathy. I just really enjoy the old pix and thought alot of others would too ... and I'd love to see more. Yes, got your email, and sent a note back to you the same day. Hmmm ... might be lost in etherspace. I'll check my outbox.

(still leaning toward blowing off work)!

Anonymous said...

Todd, the plan is to make the photos submitted for the reunion slideshow and actual reunion pics available by email and maybe (Anita?)post them on the blog. However, if you come to the reunion you won't have to wait to see them. See - yet another reason to book your flight to Milwaukee!! (I am so not going to drop this until I see you on a barstool at TJ's Fri night.)

Anonymous said...

We could post more, but they do take up a lot of memory space on the blog, which eventually is limited...
plus, we're backlogged still searching for classmates, etc...
and Kathy NelsEn is away this week...
just fricken come to the reunion

Anonymous said...

Todd-- where do you live, anyway?

Anonymous said...

Anita!
U petite healthy Rambo U!
"..just fricken come to the reunion" !!!
In the blog above to Todd.
Then after U twist his arm - metaphorically of course - behind his back U ask where he lives!
Any wonder Y there is NO RESPONSE!
Todd is S.C.A.R.E.D.
Heck, I'm coming to the ReU & I'M SCARED!
U sound like some of the tough guyz who spent way too much time at Sally's Steak House in the 60's & 70's (is it still there?).
So forceful!
Who wouldn't come to the ReU with that "Make them an offer they can't refuse" encouragement.
I'll bring my Glock if U'll bring Ur ??? (squirt gun?)
;-D
I am OBVIOUSLY sun affected from fence perimeter trench prep.

Oh my God, you're damn right Suzie, I'm ScArEd. The girls were on a roll the past couple days I see. OK, forget my lousy idea ... pics aren't that great anyway (j/k, they really are!).

Peggy, believe me I can tell you're not letting this one go! Will you engrave the bar stool for me so I know exactly where to sit? Anita, well fricken frick, OK already, I'm 99.9%. Anita, I live on Long Island in New York and work in NYC. Bigshot adman (which actually means I have no measurable talent whatsoever).

You really going for sure Suzie? By the way, Sue M. says the witch is def not her. But the front and center bride is her. Holy crap, still working on the puppy fence? You must have a REAL lot of REALLY big woofs. The Chinese built the WALL quicker.

OK, someone send an email to everyone and tell them not to send in anymore pictures or Peggy and Anita are gonna fricken clock em with a bar stool.

S.C.A.R.E.D. Todd...
Shed the suit & wear as little as
possible while U dig the perimeter trench 4 the fence & NO WHINING but U may jump in2 the pool when U just can't take it anymore.
The H.E.A.T. of course.
Yes, I am paid in all ways so will be there so U better show up for the fricken ReU or F.U.
The ANiTa Posse will hunt U down like the adog U R & drag U kicking & howling all the way to T.J.'s
So bone up & show UP.
In that case, I have no idea who the big blonde is but U R quite right. Upon closer inspection she actually looks nothing like Susie M.
Will Susie be availabe?
She was my playmate for a while 'sides being my co-communion baby bride babe.
Have a few beers & say that 3X fast
It begins to sound like, co-communion braby bride brabe.
Try it.
C!
I will speed from the plane to T.J.'s if U guys think it will go past midnite so please advise.
Gotta go eat alotta (NO! Not that from Austin Powers!) seafood.
;-D
P.S. Strangely, it just came 2 me, but I am almost sure that the big blonde in the witch hat is a girl named Margaret. How bizarre is that

whoa! geez-- I was merely mimmicking Todd from his fourth comment, in which he was ranting about Susie's "fricken" doggy fence--
alrighty, then....
Todd-- go on ahead and email to your heart's content-- everyone whose address appears on this blog's home page is okay with receiving email from classmates!

Claudia, the reason Becky's name appears in the "not posting" section is that I found out that the one comment posted in her name was actually hurriedly posted by her husband just to post her email address!
Becky!
(I know that she must have SOMETHING to say!!)

Susie-- I wouldn't be surprised if there is still a crowd at TJ's at midnight-- so far there's a big response for that-- and the tour of SHS only starts at 11am Saturday morning....

Anonymous said...

Come One Come All!!you'll never know unless you do!! There will be plenty to meet & greet you with lots of memories & smiles ( & no doubt many interesting remarks & memories!!!!)

Anonymous said...

Todd-- what's your email address, and do you want it posted on the blog?

Hi

Anonymous said...

Todd:
I think the last time I saw you was in your cap and gown, at UW-SP's graduation? Or was I just hungover from a weeks worth of Grad party hangovers of Point Beer?
Suzie F:
Is that Sue Kay next to you in the white painted face?
Deb R

Anonymous said...

Hi Deb R.,
The girl in the white face paint may very well be Sue Kay but I seem to recall her first name as Dawn. My mother moved us around so much that I 4get the names of kidz I didn't know too long.
It's the reason I would only come to my SHS ReU as opposed to Madison Senior High (my '75 graduation school) where I didn't know many kidz too well.
I lived in Shorewood since 4th grade, Mrs. Brown's class.
Sorry I cannot be of more help in identifying all kidz pictured.

I love the pictures Suzzie! I sure remember that Hawaiian luau and I know I have some more pictures of that somewhere. Maybe I will go look for them. Just have to figure out where I put them. I just adore seeing all these blasts from the past. LOL
