SURPRISE! It's Jimmy's birthday on Monday...
and his wife and daughter threw a surprise party for him Saturday night. We didn't get a picture of everyone at our meeting on Saturday, so here is a shot of some of us at Jimmy's. We all got cool party favors to wear.
Happy B-day Jim. It was good to see you again Sat at the meeting(and Chris, Peggy, Kathy, Anita and Sara too)... Have fun Mon. Looks like you all did Sat night!
Good to see you again, Andy (and everyone else, of course!) Again, Happy Birthday, Jim! You are blessed with a beautiful home and such a wonderful family! Thanks, Dave Meyer, for getting our group over there!!
I added three stories for his Surprise Party when asked to submit them. Evidently, they were read to him at his party.
One of mine: Jim was on Channel 4 (at age five or six) when a show invited kids to read the Sunday Journal comics to viewers each week. I hear he read Blondie and Sad Sack with impeccable syntax and inflection.
Hi Jim, Happy belated Bday to you! Looks & sounds like a great time was had by all. Looking forward to seeing everyone at the Reunion. And that means you too Story! (hint, hint)
Thanks for the well wishes everyone. It was so nice to have a SHS contingent show up to help me celebrate. It was a great surprise! To show you the power of this website, a friend of mine from my days in Seattle whom I haven't seen in about 10 years googled "jimmy neubauer" tonight and came up with this picture. So this website is leading to more than just high school re-connections.
It was really good to see Jimmy and I hadn't seen his wife and daughter in years. Fred was there, too, with his family ... and Jim's wonderful parents Ed and Helen were also there.
Kathy, Anita, Chris and I were the last to leave.
Jim's wife and daughter had set up a display of some really great old pictures, the baskeball shot was one of the very best.
Greetings from Pensacola, Florida. I attended SHS from 72-75. I left Milwaukee in the spring of 1977 and joined the U.S. Coast Guard (Thanks to Jed Jaworski !! ). I thought I would not do more than my first four year commitment, but ended up making a career out of it. I retired from the Coast Guard in 2001 after 24 years of service. I was married (unfortunately that ended in 2003) and have five beautiful children. I am hoping to make this reunion. It will be great to see old friends and hear about the paths that life has taken you on. I am currently working for the U.S. Navy in Pensacola and also work part time for Continental Airlines. I would love to hear from some classmates !! My email address is daveplus5@cox.net. Hope to see you in Milwaukee this summer !
Hi David, Glad you found your way here, cool! I would say its a perfect time for you to head back to Milwaukee and catch up. You dont want to miss this one :)
I second Deb...it is definitely too hot in Florida in July. We went there last summer for vacation after giving in to our daughters' endless pleadings. We learned that it IS bearable...if you don't go outside between noon and 5pm!
Good to hear from you all ! I hate to admit but I have not kept in touch with anyone from High School. I can't wait to see how old everyone has got :) Fifty is still young even though I have 2 more years to go. I think I was one of the youngest in the class. Does anyone know what happpened to Bob Ludwig? He was my neighbor right before I left for the Coast Guard. He was a great person !!
hi all, I am taking a break from a long day at work. still here but slacking a bit after 11 hours. I can't believe these pictures. I really hope to see you all at the reunion even though i would be a junior crasher in your eyes. however it does make me a year younger than all you seniors
Jeanne I was talking to my wife (class of 77 Lisa Johnson)she was contacted by Jeff Seymore several weeks ago and asked if she was going start a committe. She made a few calls but no one really jumped at the chance. So, spread the word class of 77 is more than welcomed.
Hi Claudia, I have been at Dodge City in Milw for 16 years. I live in Frankin now but was in Waterford while my kids were in grade and high school school. Now they are all grown up. I am even a granny and lovin it. I can't wait to see everyone. I will get info from Martine where and when and who to send the check for the reunion to.
I am so sorry to have missed the last meeting and I am sorry Anita for not returning your call from the answering machine. Some bad stuff came up with me. My father might have colon cancer. :( He still has to be tested for it, but we are praying that everything will prove otherwise. I am feeling out of sorts lately. I can't imagine losing another parent. I still miss my mother so much! I am hoping to come to the next meeting. This last one sounded like so much fun! :)

doesn't sound like a 30th is happening for the Class of 77-- so those that want to, can sign up to go in on ours!
Hi Jeanne!
Now I want to know where you're working. I'm so nosy!
And where are you? Are you in Wisconsin? Hope to see you in July!! Even if you are a youngster...

To Dave K
No one has gotten older, and quit bragging that you are younger than us all.
Ha- Ha.
Mr or Ms Anonymous,
Age is only a number right? Actually you guys are more fortunate than me. You will be able to collect your social security check earlier :)
I'm adding a picture of Jimmy and his brother Fred.
