We still need someone that knows how to do a Powerpoint presention to run the slideshow. Any volunteers?? We liked this spot for our meetings-- lots of space, lots of goodies, and the guys can hang out in the basement & play pool.
Our next get-together will be here, as well, on Saturday, March 31st. Hope you can make it!

Wish I could have been there, but I was busy finishing up a portrait that someone commissioned me to do of the Basketball player named Dwayne Wade. It turned out really great too! hehe
Maybe I can make the next meeting. But I would need a ride there. I don't drive due to health reasons.

They just retired his Jersey a few weeks ago at Marquette.

And if you click on my name you will see the portrait I drew of Dwayne Wade. The fingers look kind of unfinished, but it was blurred in the picture I had to work from and I did the best as I could to capture them, from what I saw. Also in the scan, not the original drawing, his right eye there doesn't look as deep in shadow as it should have. That MVP trophy he is holding was something to draw! hehe
Well Joan, Anita was saying at the meeting that her Daughter is coming and I think helping at the Registration table. If your Daughter comes they could do it together then one of us wont have to, lol. But really she might enjoy it? :)
I think that is a great idea! That gets us all out of that funny, awkward moment at the registration table when, (before they receive the photo name tags) we are panicing: "who the heck is this person talking to me, I don't remember them",
I don't know if my sons, or husband, will be coming to Milw, our summer is looking unusually busy, have firmed up summer plans yet????

My kids will not be attending this grand scale epic night. They will be out with their friends creating highscoool memories that they can talk about at their 30th reunion.
Anyone sick of winter yet. Got a bad case of cabin fever.

Thank God only one more day left in the shortest month of the year.
Today I could feel the moons effect, very strange behavior indeed on the part of my patients & coworkers. I will blame it on the upcoming full moon on Saturday along with the eclipse.
It's time for SPRING to spring & I hope it doesn't result in flood waters( of any sort).
I live in a small cottage & have a big yard. I love sitting outside & watching the birds & animals go by while I' m out working in the yard or grilling my next meal. Or fishing & having a conversation with my neighbors across the river.
I'm glad to hear you want to let your children have their own time for their memories- that's great. Hope you can make it to the next Mtg- until then take care.
I sure wish I could reach U - this comment r.e. Nathania Wallace is killing me as "Natty" came to europe with me in 1972 & I have many pix of us in France, Italy, etc having fun & getting into trouble with my father..... ;-O
