Seems Like So Long

Since we've talked. Or seen eachother.

Thanks to everyone who got in on that group email* and answered -- it was so good to hear from you!

Anyone got any news? My news is all kinda non-news: still working on the book...zzzz. Going to Chicago for Christmas, though -- a Nowicki get-together that should be a gas.

Speaking of a gas, if you haven't seen 3:10 To Yuma, it's worth the dough. And the Bourne one -- holy crap, what fun!

Can you tell I don't have too much to say?

Let me know when you guys want to start planning next year's reunion, all right?

And ah...go Greyhounds!

*if you're reading this and didn't receive the email and would have liked to, PULEEZE write me and I'll add your email to the group. Thanks!

I was just talking to Martine about the blog and was wondering where everyone was! Then out of the blue I just decided to click on it today and there was your post! Leave it to you to get things going again.
Not much to report here in LA. Glad to be all done with the remodel and thrilled school is back in session. I celebrate the first day of school in a big way. My kids tell me not to be so obvious about my excitement. Hope we hear from you all out there about what you have been doing since the reunion.

Laurel! All right! (as we said back in the day -- do they say that nowadays??)

Yes, the beginning of the school year was quite a little happy dance for me, too. I think it's that thing about being able to concentrate on one thing for more than 45 seconds that seems so delicious.

Glad your remodel is done, that has to be a relief, too.

Now: when's the next reunion?

How nice to see some action back on the Blog! So true Laurel, Claudia gets it done.
My Stepson got married this past wk-end, it was nice to see my Husband beaming with pride. The fall weather was fantastic for such an event! They even had a brunch on Sun. at 10am for those who wanted to see their new house. Who gets up that early after their Wedding? I guess I forget how much energy I use to have, whew.
They are now enjoying Aruba on their Honeymoon and I am back to reality dealing with plumbing issues, ah life goes on :)
Would love to hear more updates!

getting back to Claudia's question...
anyone ready for the next one??
This one went by too fast-- not enough time to get to talk to everyone-- we didn't even have time for a big class picture!
There's a tiny school outside this podunk town where I live that does a yearly reunion for all classes every September 1st-- is that an interesting idea?
Hey, the Class of 77 did a last-minute planned event 2 weeks ago at Riptide and had a 100+ turnout...
I don't know if anyone from our class attended?

Martine: Happy congratulations on your stepson's marriage and your husband's beaming!

Anonymous: Bada bum? Peggy, is that you???

Anita: You made it!! I've been thinking it over, and I've decided that before we plan our next reunion, we should really take care of our annual awards show. Bet you forgot about that, didn't you?

Oh, it's so nice to see you all again. We are in college application hell -- SATs, ACTs, SAT achievement tests, essays, applications, teacher recommendations, all those application fees, kaching kaching, and also me freaking out semi-daily that a year from now Nora will be out of the house! I'll be visiting slackers around the globe then, or maybe running a Slacker B&B so you can all come see me...

...well that sounds like fun!
Hey, has your Nora narrowed down her selections yet? My Jana is still deciding between two....
