Physical Bond II

Well...in trying to balance sexual representation on our blog, I have lost my original post. My apologies to those who commented.

Cough.

Anyone seen any good movies lately? I loved this one.

The new Bond is great, and he is so handsome, thanks Claudia for the Blogs Christmas Card to all of us ladies......Spike TV has its' annual 007 Days of Christmas on, which I have vegged out watching, while unwinding from the holiday hectic schedule.
So glad you got the copies Claudia, just copied some of them, since I wanted to get them in the mail in time.
I got the coolest gift: The Robot Roomba vacuum, it is so smart, and so cool to watch!!!! So glad I didn't get more jewelry, (yes, I know, that is wierd).
Welcome Back Story, and hope your are on the mend. The DJ is as good as booked, so we will have to dance!!!! Lets really try to talk up the reunion to everyone & their contacts so that word gets around.
Have a wonderful New Year Everyone.

While it has been a wonderful Xmas it is getting to be a bit of an overload and my Husband and I are not done yet! On the 23rd we had my Family Xmas at my Brother's.
The 24th&25th we had our 2 Grandkids and my Daughter. Then yesterday we drove up to Door County to see my Husband's Mother who just turned 89, bless her heart and came back this afternoon, whew!
This Saturday we have an Annual party at one of my best friend's house which we always walk away from with sore ribs from laughing so much. And we still have to get together with my Husband's 2 kids because their schedule's have been so booked, my goodness.
Now with all of that said my Husband and I agree how blessed we are indeed to have Family and Friends to share all of that with :)
Nice to have you back Story!

ok now... so we males do not feel totally abandoned in this blog, please post a picture of Terry Hatcher or Dana Delaney to compensate. ;)

Sorry I posted in the wrong spot about my Xmas. I meant to post under Happy Holidays, oops.

Even though you lost the original post for this, Claudia,
it looks like the original comments are still saved....

Yes, I see...it is confusing.

Well, Robert and I just watched The Black Dahlia and that makes Real Stinker #2 this week. Between that and The Wicker Man I think I'll go back to letting Robert pick out the movies. I always do this! It's some weird thing with me.

And Martine, your Christmas sounds really wonderful. And when things slow down and you decide to relax and watch a movie, at least you'll know what not to get.

p.s. to andy -- is this the babe you wanted?

So to speak.

sure, but if looks could kill. yikes.

ya that black dahlia movie was a yawner. the original had more suspense...

Good title for the next Bond movie...

"If Looks Could Kill"

Of course, the murderous villain would be some insane hypnotist out to take over the world be mesmerizing people with some cool gadget.

Have not seen Dahlia or Wicker Man, or anything else since Bond. (still sighing over him, yet my son HATED it, didn't have enough "cool gadgets")
Mom saw "We Are Marshall", & thought it was very inspirational. My sis in law saw "The Good Shepard" & thought it took too much thinking.
Al hasn't listened to my movie suggestions ever since I dragged him out to see Bridges of Madison County telling him it was a Clint Eastwood flick!!! (Well it was!)

Hellos to all -
Martine, I love your way of celebrating the holdiays. Family, friends and much laughter. What a beautiful time to be in Door County!
Deb, thank goodness for the D-J. I will be a dancing fool (but don't watch me, watch Dan and his wife hopping). I am sure I will still be working off all the very much appreciated cookies and goodies delivered to me for the past month.
Since I haven't been out to see movies, my husband has been supplying me with oodles of movies from Hollywood Vid (mostly his choices)and Netflix. His choices, would be war, kung fu and indie's which I love, except kung fu. The results are in and not good. One great movie out of several that ranged from mediocre to icky-poo. And the winner is - Little Miss Sunshine. I highly recommend it.
If I don't get back on before the New Year - Cheers to friends, to your families, may you have much health and an abundance of happiness. Be safe.
And of course - GO PACKERS - May the force or something, anything be with you. Brett, shine bright and make us Wisconsinites and Packerites(?) proud.

Here's the thing about the Dahlia movie, Andy: It kept such a poker face! I mean, it had me thinking that they DIDN'T KNOW it wasn't making any sense -- like they were just not aware or something through the whole damn thing, THEN, at the last ten minutes (or was it twenty? Augh!) they tried to sew everything together. Now that made me mad -- they KNEW they were being nonsensical! Grr.

And Deb, the fact that 007 was a bit gadgetless was exactly what I liked about him -- he had to MOVE. What an animal.

I like that animal stuff.

(Clint Eastwood indeed.)

And STORY! I totally forgot Little Miss Sunshine! Yes, yes, yes!! Liked it a lot. It was so NICE. And it distinctly reminded me of some former in-laws of mine...really charming, original people.

Just got back in town and wanted to wish everyone a very happy new year and I really do look forward to seeing you all in July. What's everyone doing for New Years Eve? I know this is about movies, but since we never stay on one topic thought I should keep it going!
We are having a pajama party, it's a new thing we started a while back. This year everyone was sent black monogramed pjs, and we all go to my friends house and ofcourse wear our pjs and we have lots of food , laughs and this year we're doing karaoke.
HAPPY NEW YEAR!!

You have more energy than I do Laurel......practice that kareoke for the reunion.....
Staying home, some neighbors will visit, under the condition that everyone is back in their homes by midnight. A traditional fooze ball game is played, dip in the hot tub, and try to stay awake till 12:00.
Hope and pray for those who are troubled, need healing, and thanks for family, and old friends. Best in 2007.

Laurel, that sounds like fun. I still say the reunion should be a pajama party!
That's all I can blog for now - I am on day 3 of the worst stomach flu of my life and I just broke my little toe (a bottle of milk fell out of fridge).

Peggy, I'm so sorry about the little toe, not fun. I also know about the flu thing, caught it too many times from my kids, I got the flu shot this year for the first time, ofcourse I'll get the one it does'nt cover! Feel better, maybe a big daddy's drink might help, call Pat!
Deb, does everyone really have to leave before midnight? This yeat maybe you can kick them out at 12:01.

Laurel: They won't come if I make them stay; leaving early is the only reason they come in the first place!!!!!!(too much expectation on NY Eve perhaps?)
Peggy: My sympathy, nothing worse than being sick on the holidays! I broke my toe walking into the refridgerator last summer, (that appliance is dangerous)!! Then like Murphys Law, I kept walking into stuff, and re injuring it.
Claud: I loved Bond, (Daniel Craig), I too am glad there were few gadgets, that guy IS fabulous. The first 15 minutes were amazing; but to a 14 yr old boy, gadgets are key to a good Bond movie!!!!
